Paint Bucket 🪣 Fill The Text Art Area With A Character
Select a character and fill an isolated area on the canvas. Pick a character from the canvas, input it from your keyboard or search any unicode character by name.
The Paint Bucket tool works just like the one in regular image editing programs. But instead of color, it uses characters! It's great for quickly changing large areas of a surrounded part of your text art. If you've ever used a coloring book, you'll get it right away. You choose a character, click in a spot, and the tool fills the surrounded area with that character. It even does it in an animated way to visualize the paint bucket being spilled. It stops when it hits another character - just like how paint stops at a wall.
How It Works?
- Select the Paint Bucket tool from the left toolbar. It should already be selected when you load this page.
- Select a character you'd like to paste.
- Click on the area you want to fill.
This tool is helpful when you want to change big spaces without having to do it by hand. You can also use it to fix mistakes quickly or try different looks in seconds.

Helpful Tip
Think of it like pouring water into a bowl of cereal. The milk fills all the space, but it doesn't overflow past the edge. The Paint Bucket does the same with characters - it fills until it reaches a different one.
